Question 1

Is there an entry fee?

Entry is FREE but we encourage you to [RSVP](#rsvp) to help us plan for the pawty! Not required- just appreciated for a headcount.

Photos with SanTuna require a [booking](#rsvp) (£5 per group of 1 or more). A portion of those proceeds will help with the event costs and the rest will go to [Pine Ridge Dog Sanctuary](https://pineridgedogsanctuary.org.uk/).

Question 2

Can I meet Tuna?

Accepted Answer

Yes! From 2-4pm, there will be an opportunity to take a photo with him (aka SanTuna) but you will need to [pre-book a slot](#rsvp) for £5. Spaces are limited! You will need to show proof of purchase via email to get your photo with him and will receive a stamp the day of. Queue will start at 1.30 pm, no sooner, and will end at 3.45pm. Last photo opportunity is at 4 pm. All photos will be taken on your personal phone or camera. Turn the flash off beforehand please. Designate one person in your group to hold Tuna. He prefers women to men and children. If you want him to take a photo with your dog, we will need to see how Tuna feels about that, haha.

Can I bring my own dog?

Absolutely! Well-behaved dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead at all times. There will be a costume contest (with prizes), which includes pets, so dress them up festive if they agree to it :)

Is the event weather dependant?

Accepted Answer

This is an outdoor event but come rain or shine since Windsor Guildhall is a covered patio. There will NOT be heaters so dress warm, festive, and accordingly. Heavy coats, hats, gloves, scarves, thick socks encouraged.

Is the venue accessible?

Who do the donations benefit?

Accepted Answer

A portion of proceeds from Tuna merch and SanTuna photos will benefit [Pine Ridge Dog Sanctuary](https://pineridgedogsanctuary.org.uk/) but 100% of raffle & game sales, silent auction proceeds, and cash donations will benefit the charity directly.

If I can't attend, can I still make a donation to the charity?

We're so glad you asked! YES! An optional [donation link](#donate) to benefit our local partner charity, Pine Ridge Dog Sanctuary, is available on the site and 100% of proceeds will go directly to Pine Ridge.

Question 8

If I make this a day or overnight trip, what else is there to do in Windsor?

Accepted Answer

You can visit the 950 year-old Windsor Castle (Sunday hours 10am, closes at 4.15pm- [tickets](https://www.rct.uk/visit/windsor-castle#book_tickets) start at £31 online) or walk the Long Walk up to the Castle for free! Head to [Windsor on Ice](https://www.windsoronice.com/) at Alexandra Gardens before or after [The Shambles](https://theshamblesbar.co.uk/) x Tuna event. Open to the public on Sundays from 10am-9pm (10 min walk from The Shambles) Enjoy ice skating, rides and food/drink outlets. You can also enjoy holiday shopping in downtown Windsor! Most shops are open until 5pm on a Sunday. If you are travelling a long distance to get here, there are a variety of hotels and Airbnbs in Windsor to choose from if you want to stay overnight.
